Degree in Economics & Business from the University of "La Sapienza" in Rome. He also holds a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Turin (CORIPE) as well as a Master's in International Finance and Foreign Trade.
In 1994 Mr. Turicchi was appointed Officer of the Ministry of the Treasury, where in 1999 he became Executive Manager assigned to the Public Debt Division, responsible for securitisation and financial transactions on both domestic and international debt.
From 2002 to 2009 he was General Manager of the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and oversaw the company's transition to a joint stock company in 2003.
From 2009 to 2011, he served as Executive Director for the City of Rome and in July 2011 he was appointed the Italy Country President for the Alstom Group.
Mr. Turicchi is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Airline Company, Alitalia S.p.A. and of Autostrade per l’Italia S.p.A.. Since 20 April 2016, he has been the Head of Directorate VII – Finance and Privatisations of the Treausry Department within the Minsitry of Economy and Finance. Previously, he was a board director of Mediocredito del Friuli, Mediocredito di Roma e EUR S.p.A. and a member of the Supervisory Board of Numonyx and STMicroelectronics, where he was also Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
Mr. Turicchi has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank since 16 April 2015 and Deputy Chairman since 21 December 2017.
