Angelo Barbarulo

Degree in Law from the University of Naples - "Federico II".

Mr. Barbarulo has spent his career with the Montepaschi Group. He began in the Branch Network and rose through the ranks, taking on positions of increasing responsibility. He was made Branch Manager in 1986 and became Head of a Network Division in 1994.

As Executive Manager, he was appointed Deputy Head of the Credit Disbursement and Control Division in 2002.

Between 2002 and 2007, he served as Head of the Network Area

Following the Group's acquisition of Biverbanca, he was appointed its General Manager in 2008, a position he held until 31 December 2012.

Mr. Barbarulo is currently the Acting Deputy General Manager of the Bank.

• Member of the Board of Directors of Fondo Interbancario per la Tutela dei Depositi
• Member of the Board of Directors of Schema Volontario Fondo Interbancario    Tutela Depositi
• Member of the Board of Directors of ABI - Associazione Bancaria Italiana
