Alessandro Falciai

Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Naples.

In 1990 he was awarded an MBA from the INSEAD Business School in Fontainebleau.

He worked at the European Space Agency’s Technology Centre in the Netherlands, in the Iri/Stet group (now Telecom Italia) launching operations in Brazil and helping to build up the Group's activities in South America.

In 1997, he joined the Mediaset Group, where he was appointed Managing Director of Elettronica Industriale, the Group's technology and infrastructure company.

In 2000, Mr. Falciai began his entrepreneurial career by founding Dmt S.p.A. with the aim of developing the business of telecom towers and DTT in Italy. The company was listed on the Milan Stock Exchange in 2004.

In 2011, he successfully promoted the merger with the Mediaset towers, subsequently leaving Dmt S.p.A. (now EI Towers S.p.A.).
As of 2012, he has developed his holding company Millenium Partecipazioni S.r.l., of which he is CEO. The company operates in three business areas: real estate, private equity and finance, investing both in Italy and abroad, especially in the marine industry, biotech, medical devices and renewable energy.

Mr. Falciai has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank since 16 April 2015 and Chairman since 24 November 2016.
