Antonella Centra

Director
Antonella Centra has served as an independent Director on the Board of Directors of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A. since 15 April 2026. Within the Board, she also serves as a member of the Risk and Sustainability Committee and of the Remuneration Committee.
Since 2024, she has been a member of the Advisory Committee of FEduF (Foundation for Financial Education and Savings), and since 2023 a member of the Advisory Board of Fashion Trust – Italian National Chamber of Fashion. Since 2022, she has served as Regional Director – Lombardy Committee of the AIRC Foundation for Cancer Research, and she was previously a member of the Board of Directors of the Tuscany Regional Orchestra Foundation. In addition, she has been a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA) since 2015, and of the Italian Association of In-house Counsel (AIGI) since 2000.
From 2023 to May 2026, she served as a member of the Board of Directors of AMCO Asset Management Company S.p.A., Chair of the ESG Committee and a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee. From 2019 to 2022, she was an Independent Director of COIMA RES S.p.A. SIIQ.
From 2015 to 2025, she served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Affairs & Sustainability at Gucci (Kering Group), where she had global responsibility for legal and ESG matters and also served as Head of Institutional Affairs and Group Compliance Officer. She was also a member of the Board of Directors of Guccio Gucci S.p.A., Gucci Logistica S.p.A. and Luxury Goods Gulf LLC, and Chair of the Board of Directors of Gucci Palazzo S.r.l. From 2013 to 2015, she served as Group General Counsel and a member of the Executive Committee at Bottega Veneta (Kering Group), where she was also responsible for Institutional Affairs. She was also a member of the Board of Directors of Bottega Veneta Servizi S.r.l., Bottega Veneta Italia S.p.A., Bottega Veneta Outlet S.r.l. and Bottega Veneta UK Ltd. At WIND Telecomunicazioni, from 2008 to 2013, she served as Deputy Head of Legal Affairs, overseeing the sale of WIND to VimpelCom in 2012. She was also a member of the Board of Directors of WIND Retail S.r.l. From 2003 to 2008, she was General Counsel for Italy and the Alpine, Central European & Mediterranean Divisions, as well as a member of the Executive Committee at Coca-Cola. She also served on the Boards of Directors of Coca-Cola Italia S.r.l. and Sibil S.r.l. At Prada Group (2000–2003), she was Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer, while at IBM Italia (1998–2000) she served as In-house Counsel.
From 1997 to 1998, she worked as a Corporate Lawyer – Visiting Associate at Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering (Brussels), and as a Junior Associate at Baker & McKenzie from 1994 to 1996.
Ms. Centra holds a Law degree from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and a Master’s degree from the College of Europe (Bruges). She is qualified as a lawyer, as well as a Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor. She has received numerous awards, including the Grazia Phygital Awards (2025), the Italia Informa Award (2024), the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Italia Award (2023), inclusion among Forbes Italia’s 100 Most Successful Italian Women (2023), Fortune Italia’s Most Powerful Women (2023), and the Legal 500 GC Powerlist Italy (multiple editions).
