Carlo Corradini

Carlo Corradini has served as an Independent Director on the Board of Directors of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena since 15 April 2026. He currently holds the positions of Deputy Chair of the Board of Directors, Chair of the Risk and Sustainability Committee, and member of the IT and Digitalisation Committee. 

He currently serves as Chair of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Ansaldo Energia S.p.A. (since 2022), Chair of the Board of Directors of Banor SIM S.p.A. (since 2017) and PLT S.p.A. (since 2022), and Director of PLT Holding S.r.l. (since 2023).

He has held the role of Chair of the Board of Statutory Auditors and of the Supervisory Body of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (2016–2025), as well as Chair of the Board of Auditors of the Fondazione per il Futuro delle Città (2022–2025). He served as Chair of Quaestio Holding S.A. and Quaestio SGR (2017–2023), Board Member with responsibility for assets (2019–2021) at Fondazione Cariplo, and Chair of the Investors’ Committee of the Atlante Fund (May 2016 – December 2021). He has also served as a Director of Juliet/Juliet Holding (2018–2020) and as a Supervisory Board Member of Intesa Sanpaolo, where he was also a member of the Control Committee and the Related Party Transactions Committee (2013–2016). He has held directorships across a number of boards, including PLT Energia S.r.l. (2013–2026), Banca Monte Parma (2010–2011), Maire Tecnimont (2012), Sonus Faber – Macintosh Group (2010–2014), Value Investments (2011), YLF S.p.A. (2013–2022), and Borsa Italiana (2003–2006). He also served as a Director of SIT La Precisa (2011–2014) and as Deputy Chair of Fondamenta/Quadrivio SGR (2012–2013). From 2006 to 2009, he served as Chair of Leonardo & Co.

He was a member of the European Advisory Board of Oliver Wyman (2006–2011), and Chair of IMI Bank Luxembourg and Banca IMI Securities – New York (a member of the NYSE). He also held directorships at Sanpaolo Wealth Management, Sanpaolo Alternative Investments, IMI Sigeco UK, IW Bank, Obiettivo SGR and Sanpaolo Institutional Asset Management. 

From 1998 to 2006, he served as Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Banca IMI.

Mr. Corradini holds a degree in Economics from the University of Modena and is a Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor.
