Patrizia Albano

Patrizia Albano has been serving as an independent director on the Board of Directors of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena since 15 April 2026. Within the Board, she is currently Chair of the Nomination Committee and a member of the Related Party Transactions Committee.

Since 2008, she has practised law through her own law firm based in Rome and Milan, specialising primarily in corporate law. 

She has been a member of the Board of Directors of Milanosesto SICAF in Gestione Esterna S.p.A. since 2023 and a member of the Investments Committee of Be Cause Sicaf S.p.A. Since 2018, she has served on the Board of Directors of Piaggio & C. S.p.A. Since 2014, she has been a Standing Auditor of Artemide Group S.p.A. and Artemide S.p.A., and since 2020 an Alternate Auditor of Edison S.p.A.

From 2017 to 10 April 2026, she was a member of the Board of Directors of FinecoBank S.p.A., where she also served as Chair of the Corporate Governance and Environmental and Social Sustainability Committee and as a member of the Nomination Committee.
From 2008 to 2021, she provided ongoing legal advice to the Prada Group, assisting the parent company Prada S.p.A. in its IPO on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. During this period, she also held the positions of Head of Corporate Affairs, Board Secretary, and Company Secretary within the Group.

From 2020 to 2022, she served as Chair of the Supervisory Body of Fiocchi Munizioni S.p.A. Between 2015 and 2018, she was Chair of the Fashion and Design Group of Assolombarda. She was also Chair of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Artemide Italia S.r.l. from 2014 to 2023, a member of the Board of Directors of Mediacontech S.p.A. from 2016 to 2018 and briefly served as a Director of Cassa di Risparmio di Rimini S.p.A. in 2015.

From 2003 to 2007, she worked with Studio Legale Carbonetti in Rome, where she gained experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, capital markets and litigation. From 2000 to 2003, she served as General Counsel of IBI S.p.A. From 1999 to 2000, she was Head of Legal Coordination for Corporate Italia at San Paolo IMI. From 1981 to 1998, she worked within the staff of the Deputy General Manager of the Credit Division at IMI S.p.A. 

Ms. Albano holds a Law degree from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and was admitted to the Rome Bar Association from 2006 until 2025.
