Dimitri Bianchini

After graduating in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Florence, Mr. Bianchini was awarded the "G. Bartolomei" Scholarship, promoted by Banca Toscana in collaboration with SDA Bocconi. He went on to obtain the Advanced Diploma in Banking and Finance from ABI Formazione and attended the Master’s programme in Credit Management at SDA Bocconi.      

In September 1997, he joined Banca Toscana, where he held various positions within the branch network, taking on roles of increasing responsibility in both the corporate and retail sectors, eventually becoming Regional Director.

Following the merger of Banca Toscana into Banca MPS in 2008, he served as Regional Market Director (Retail, Corporate, and Private) across various territories.

In 2015, he was appointed Retail Commercial Director of the Tuscany Regional Area, and in 2018, he became General Manager of the same Regional Area, with responsibility for all Retail, Corporate and Private markets.

In 2020, he was appointed General Manager for Central Italy, and from 2021 to 2022, he served as Head of the Bank’s Performing Loans Department.

In November 2022, he was appointed Head of Corporate Lending, and in 2024, he was named Chief Commercial Officer for Corporate and Private Banking.

Mr. Bianchini has also served as Deputy Chairperson of the Board of Directors of MPS Leasing & Factoring (part of the MPS Group).
