Siena, 19 January 2023 – The Chairperson of Banca Monte Dei Paschi di Siena, Patrizia Grieco, announced during today's Board of Directors meeting that she has informed the Ministry of Economy and Finance of her unavailability to serve for a new term as Chairperson after the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.

“It has been a very intense human and professional experience, concluded with the success of the capital increase. I therefore thank all the colleagues, the Chief Executive Officer Mr Luigi Lovaglio, the management and the Board of Directors who have done an extraordinary job in very complex and challenging years” said Patrizia Grieco.
