BANCA MPS: FITCH MAINTAINS RATING WATCH NEGATIVE ON BMPS RATINGS
Siena, 7 June 2021 – Banca Monte Paschi di Siena (“BMPS” or the “Bank”) announces that, following the annual review of the Bank’s credit profile, Fitch Ratings has decided to maintain the “Rating Watch Negative” (RWN) on the Bank’s stand-alone “Viability Rating” (VR), and on long-term ratings.
The main ratings on “Rating Watch Negative” are:
• Long-Term Issuer Default Rating: “B”
• Viability Rating: “b”
• Long-Term Deposit Rating: “B+”
• Long-Term Senior preferred debt: “B”
• Long-Term Subordinated debt: “CCC+”.
