Siena, 8 February 2021 – Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A. (the "Bank"), at the request of Consob, regarding the rumors appeared in the press in recent days regarding the alleged imminent issuance of a subordinated bond, as well as the interest of some international funds to have access to the data room opened by the Bank, informs that it is not under studying the issuance of any subordinated bond and, as regards the interest of international funds, it should be noted that, at today’s date, only the Apollo fund has requested access to the data room.
