Sale of a real estate portfolio owned by Monte dei Paschi di Siena Banking Group: period of exclusivity granted to Ardian
Siena, 11 February 2020 - As part of the competitive procedure concerning the sale of a real estate portfolio owned by Monte dei Paschi di Siena Banking Group started in July 2019, the Bank announces that it has granted Ardian a period of exclusivity aimed at defining the contractual documents necessary to close the deal by the end of February.
The competitive procedure is part of BMPS' 2017-2021 Restructuring Plan which provides, among the formal commitments undertaken by the Bank (in particular Commitment no. 17), the sale of properties within the period covered by the Plan.
