Degree in Law from the University of Pisa.

 

Professor and teacher of “Commercial Law" and "Commercial Law - Advanced Course" in the Economics and Management Department of the University of Pisa, where she previously taught "Bankruptcy Law" and "Banking Law".

 

She served as President of the Economics and Business Administration program for two consecutive terms and currently chairs the Educational Scientific Committee of the Association of Certified Public Accountants of the Northern Tyrrhenian Sea Area.  She is also a member of the Board of Professors of the PhD program in national and international Commercial Law at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.

 

She has been a lawyer and member of the Bar of Pisa since 1987 and has been registered as a Barrister before the Supreme Court since 1999.  She is a practicing lawyer focusing on specialist Court and out-of-Court issues, specifically concerning corporate and insolvency issues.   

 

She has served on the Boards of the Pisa Theatre Foundation, the Arpa Foundation, the Pisa Chamber of Commerce and the Pisa Foundation the former Cassa di Risparmio di Pisa Foundation).

 

Between 2008 and 2011, Ms. Calvosa was Chairperson of Cassa di Risparmio di San Miniato S.p.A. During the same period she also held a number of other offices, which included member of the National Committee of Banks and member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Banking Association.

 

Since August 2011, she has been an independent Board member of Telecom Italia S.p.A. as well as member of the Control and Risk Committee, of which she has also served as Chairperson since April 2014.

 

Ms. Calvosa has been an independent Director of the Bank since 16 April 2015.
