After a brief experience in a metalworking and mechanical engineering company, where she was tasked with administrative/accounting responsibilities, Ms. Ferri joined Monte dei Paschi di Siena in 1986, with her first appointment being in the branch of Vietri Sul Mare.
From 1988 to 1991 she held a number of positions within the Commercial Network's Forlì and Bologna Branches.
In 2001, she was part of a Work Group, named “Paschi Valore”, which had the task of reorganising the Network’s commercial processes.
In 2002, she began her experience in Knowledge Management and Training contributing, among other things, to setting up the Savings and Pensions Academy.
In 2005, she joined the Industrial Relations Department, first as a specialist and later, in 2008, as Head Manager, where she held the position until 2017. From 2012 to 2017, she was a member of the Management Committee and Board of Directors of ENBICREDITO for the management of the Employment Fund.
In 2017 she was appointed Head of the Chief Lending Officer Division's Human Resources Department, overseeing processes for the management and enhancement of human resources.
As of July 2019, Ms. Ferri is the "Employer for the protection of health and safety at work” - i.e. the Employer for "preventive" purposes in compliance with BMPS' new By-Laws.
Ms. Ferri currently serves as Chief Safety Officer. In addition, as of 2017, she is also Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Monte dei Paschi di Siena Employee Pension Fund, a company pension scheme that provides supplementary pension benefits to its members or their successors.
