First meeting of new BoD: Fabrizio Viola appointed Chief Executive Officer

The first meeting of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena's new Board of Directors has taken place. All directors appointed by the Shareholders' Meeting on 27 April were present: Alessandro Profumo (Chairman), Fabrizio Viola, Paola Demartini, Angelo Dringoli, Tania Groppi, Marco Turchi (Deputy Chairman), Lorenzo Gorgoni, Turiddo Campaini (Deputy Chairman), Alberto Giovanni Aleotti, Michele Briamonte, Pietro Giovanni Corsa, Frédéric Marie de Courtois d’Arcollières, as were the statutory auditors Paolo Salvadori (Chairman), Paola Serpi and Claudio Gasperini Signorini.

The Board resolved to appoint today's General Manager Mr. Fabrizio Viola to also serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena Spa. Additionally, a new Executive Committee was formed at today's Board meeting. Its members will be: Alessandro Profumo, Fabrizio Viola, Marco Turchi, Turiddo Campaini, Alberto Giovanni Aleotti, Lorenzo Gorgoni.
