Luca Bader

Director pursuant to By-Laws (Consolidated Law on Finance and Corporate Governance Code)
Luca Bader has been an independent director of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A. since May 2020 and is also a member of the Appointments Committee and the Remuneration Committee.
After graduating with a degree in Political Science from South Bank University London, U.K. and a Master's degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics, he served as Research Coordinator of the "Laboratory for the International Economy ", Institute of International Affairs (IIA).
He served as a member of the Board of Directors of Leonardo S.p.A. from May 2017 to May 2020.
He has been a consultant on European and International Affairs for several Italian and multinational companies.
He has held academic positions at various institutions including the Department of Political Science - University of Sydney - the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) - London - the E.U. Centre, La Trobe University - Melbourne.
Between 2014 and 2016, he was Chief of Staff of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and later Senior Advisor for International Relations of the Prime Minister of Italy until 2017 .
